Northeast of Kungshamn you can walk or run on the exercise track that connects directly to Johannesvik.
Via the track you can get to the center of Kungshamn and also to Väjern where Tumlaren (Sotenäs swimming and rehabilitation facility) is located. In the area you will find the granite mountains and the lush valleys that are so typical for this particular area. In the north-eastern part is a nature reserve consisting of Klevekilen and its surroundings. There is a rich bird life here.
At Ramsvikslandet, which is a nature reserve, you are offered a hike in the kingdom of the rocks, with traces of the ice sheet, in the form of giant craters, ice grooves and other rock sculptures. At Tullboden you will find Bua hed, which consists of heathland that is largely overgrown with heather. The place has been used by people from the Stone Age until today.
From Tullboden you take the ferry across to Bohus-Malmön, the ferry runs 2 times per hour. On Bohus-Malmön, which is a roughly 4 km long and 2 km wide rocky island, you can hike the coastal path. Here you walk on different types of surfaces such as granite, forest paths and wooden bridges. The island also has several well-arranged swimming areas and the beaches are very popular.
