Nordens Ark works to give endangered animals a future. Here conducts breeding and rearing, where some of the animals are put back into their natural environment.
About eighty species are living in the park by Åbyfjorden. Some of the species are Amur tiger, small panda and otters. Among the Swedish species there are Fjällko (Mountain cow), Gotland Russ (Horse) and Gutefår (sheep). There are ongoing activities in the park, throughout the year. On the manor where Nordens Ark is located, there are a fantastic nature with hiking trails and one of Bohuslän’s largest petroglyphs.
